Sailed on Sunday 11 August, 5 Albacores turned out for the tradition of the Harold Wallace Fiver. Ian and Cameron had gathered the crews who chose a separate start following the handicap race. That was provided by RO Jack Young assisted by Jeremy and Sharon Wallace on PJ.
There was jostling for position on the start line in a good force 2 southeasterly, with Cameron crossing in the lead. But pointing higher, Allan and Chrissy soon overtook the others. They held it after three laps and an hour racing, to take the trophy.
