Our new young sailors joined in the first of our Tuesdays on the water for 2025. Some had no experience, some were veteran Oppie sailors, others at L 2/3. Tide in, plenty of U18 assistants, a warm, sunny evening. Wind a bit light but some livelier patches. We had 36 sailors on the water altogether, Henry with Jim in Rescue 1, Simon and Elliot in LymeRib, Ed and Noah in OppieRib to oversee and coach. A very enjoyable session, smiles all round – though not all stayed dry! Set the scene for partnerships and progress as sessions continue weekly until mid- July.
