A very light breeze indeed, but lots of useful practice on the water, 29 June.
All ready for briefings. Safe with clear space on the slipway.

All at sea, trolleys where we were asked to leave them tonight.
It was a calm, slow-moving session. The challenge of sailing out of the harbour with so little wind and shallow water meant Jim did a few tows. Elliot got used to his Laser, now confident he can right it after a capsize. The ILCAs had enough breeze to practice their windward boat rules and roll tacks with coach Graham. Jack’s water skills activities were so enjoyable they all returned happy and saying what a good session it was. Harvey’s group managed to sail better upwind, and Tia was delighted she’d been the first into the water for an activity and had fooled the others that the water was warm! We should now name her group ‘Improvers’. I’ve not seen Jim come ashore smiling as much for a while! Jack is hoping we will be able to have a bit of a trip down the coast later in July but that depends on the restrictions.
Missed the football? The cheers from Swim carried across the water……
