Jerry congratulated all who took part and helped Lyme to the lowest total points, beating Sutton Bingham by 67 to 77 to retain the trophy. Tom Rawlings was first youth, repeating his success of last year, now in an ILCA 6. Tom continues his training with the ILCA 6 squad at Weymouth Academy and has raced regularly at Lyme throughout the winter.
Ed Stubbs, who trains with his regional squad, was second Youth. Jerry said they would appreciate Lyme more after the tricky wind shifts and conditions on the lake. Phil and Catriona led for the adults, Phil accepting the cup from the Commodore of Sutton Bingham and thanking the hosts. Top sailor for Sutton Bingham was Andrew Frost, son of former Lyme Commodore Richard Frost.
