LRSC was represented by four youth sailors, one from each of our youth training groups, at this traditional ceremony on the slipway, organised by the RNLI’s Ian Marshall. Harbour groups help to hand the wreaths from the RBL after the service, to other waiting representatives. Our sailors passed the wreaths to the Lifeboat crew. This year, the boat was still in its cradle due to the state of the tide, and was launched immediately afterwards. Everyone stood in line as the Lifeboat carried the wreaths out to sea, followed by an ILCA sailed by Elliot. Parents and club members were present. Our thanks to all who took part.
